Family came and went.

4 days into 2009
Alright. So we had family come down for Christmas and New Years. It was my aunt and her family along with their dog. Now I can deal with them no problem. Except that my aunt is so much like my grandmother that I was ready to kill myself because I kept getting yelled at by the two for no other reason then talking. I understand that I talk like my generation, with the 'like' and the 'dude', but that is no reason to get annoyed with me. They always had a freaking comment for everything and that annoyed me the most.
Now let me tell you about their dog. It is a male who isn't fixed.. which is so very dumb. Now we have three dogs, only one of them female Venus. This dang dog kept licking my baby girl and trying to hump her face. And then one of the male dogs, our alpha male Dallas, kept trying to show his dominance to this little dog which did not turn out well. The visiting dog, Baxter, kept marking the house and Dallas followed right behind him and remarked the house as his. This was literally hell.

Countdown to Christmas: 16 days
This was passed to me from my adoption/rescue group, Animal Adoption League(NC and SC):
Tony & Rebecca Williams claim to have a rescue in Rocky Mount, NC and are
trying to get dogs from all over the Eastern Seaboard. (She offered to take
14 dogs since Monday.) She continues to take dogs. Most are pit bulls, with some offers to adopt
Presa Canarios, Rottweilers, Dobermans, and Wolf hybrids. In addition, she
had previously posted that her roommate was looking for a Great Dane or
Great Dane mix. She also posted that she was "desperate" for a Chihuahua and she really
wanted a Min Pin and a Jack Russell. She claims her rescue is a pit bull
rescue, but another pit rescuer called the local Animal Control.
Animal Control's comments: "She's been barred from taking any dogs from the shelters in her area." He also said she has a long criminal history, has been selling Pit Bulls on
street corners for $15 or $20 and has been under investigation for dog
fighting. Atlantic Rescue has now banned her, after finding out this
information. They are going out of their area looking for dogs to adopt for their
inhumane purposes.
This is the first blog I have ever done and truth be told I have no idea what to write about. I'm told to write about what I care enough about to be able to write plenty. The problem I am having is that I don't know what I really care about. Sure there are all the dogs and cats that need to be rescued but is that enough to capture peoples attention? I am going to tell you the truth and say that my life is very boring. I'm not in college due to a lack of funds and I don't have a job because no one is hiring someone during this season who has no experience. So I have to wait until the season ends.
